The awards will be presented at the 2009 Royes Family Reunion banquet in Jamaica in July. Some of you may know that this program was born out of a desire - for those of us that can, financially – to give back to our next generation (post-high school) in a way that encourages them to continue their educational endeavors. Well, after much hard work, we are finally ready to receive applications! There will be four (4) awards of US$250.00 each given to assist post-high school students entering college (or college-equivalent) in the Fall of 2009 that will provide funding for books and/or other supporting expenses. The application deadline is June 30, 2009 so for those that are interested, please start submitting your applications to scholarship@royesfamily.com now!
